I set up Bar Blog in May 2005 as a project to get myself and my friends visiting more bars pubs and clubs around the country on various trips and pub crawls. Yes, i love a drink and often many of my excursions leave my party moaning that the pub we're in is just awful. These complaints are often reflected in my reviews.

I refuse to put into this blog any pubs i may have visited alone or any reviews submitted by other people. They are all my own honest work and although it appears that some 100 reviews were submitted in December 2005 I did in fact transfer them over from the previous design at http://barblog.blogdrive.com . I have been visiting pubs for review since 2001 and therefore a small minority of reviews maybe outdated and opub names may have changed.
