The Falcon (High Wycombe)

The Falcon (Wetherspoons)
Smokey, orrible and greasy. It took three members of staff twenty minutes tofind a burger on their till. Apparently it was everyonme's first day. The place is large but with a l;ow ceiling so it feels cramped and you get cold looks off people wearing paint splattered overalls at every table. Truely inviting if you want death.

Overall 1/10. We sat in our own mess for an hour before they cleared it up. Yuk!

An interesting sight you have here you certainly have your work cut out for ya.

Nice to see that a pub in High Wycombe is up to the normal standards of just about most pubs there, i have been in the Falcon and i'll agree with you on everything you said about it.
Specially as i have been working in High Wycombe and gone there after work to become one of the people wearing paint splattered overalls at every table, only i dont do the cold stare thing, but i imagine that id have got some had i not been in work overalls.

Whilst you were there you should have tried the hobgoblin a little way down the road from the falcon....now that is where your not only inviting death by being there but you'll probly find him st next to at the bar having a cold 1 whilst on his lunch break!

I'll continue to read your blogs if you keep up the good work, good luck to your liver!
