The Wishing Well

The wishing well has a family vibe to it even on weekend evenings out. The pub is well equipped with seating and games machines with no waiting times at the bar. The place is a little more expensive than the other in the surrounding area and plays popular music and is crammed with a crowd of 50-somethings. The bar staff arent as friendly as I have encoutnered elsewhere and the atmosphere is not exactly alive. It has a very festive feel to it but thats as far as it goes in terms of enthusiasm and character. One drink and I was off, wasn't impressed with the toilets either but notabley a huge front door that someone in a wheelchair might appreciate.

Overall a middle-ground 5/10.
