The Oxford (Kentish Town - London)

The Oxford

This "bar" feels rather trendy from the outside but within is a big room filled with soul music. the interior is decorated rather like the inside of a shoebox withe the ceiling and top of the walls painted a rich red colour. The room is full of small square tables with a long bar running down the middle and next to it an open kitchen. The drinks are a little expensive at £3.10 a pint but there is a variety of ciders on tap and the staff are friendly. The walls themselves are rather bare and there is little space to navigate around the pub. The place itself gets quite popular early on but it really does need a revamp even if there are chandeliers in some corners of the bar.

Overall I wasn't impressed, the place needs to be opened out and the prices dropped so its 4/10.
