The Wetherspoons (Brighton)

The Wetherspoons

The one place you flock too before hours of fun at the massive array of bars in Brighton is the one place that spoils the lot of them. Commanding the entry of cheap women, police and persons who appear to have trodden in the whole of the beach from down the road. However like all wetherspoons the prices are cheap so it is value for money even if it does get overcrowded and theres little room to sit down. I promise you you'll only be up for the one drink and then be off. Theres much better places to choose from than this.

Overall a poor-for-a-wetherspoons 4/10

Yates (Brighton)

Yates

Down the steep hills of brighton, but not quite to the beach and down the cobbled alleys of yesteryear enter you into a humbled old theatre of whose authentic cramped front entrance leads you up a spiral staircase and into theare seats lands a jaw dropping feeling in your heart as you learn this is a Yates pub. Looking down from above into the packed bar this unique seating arrangment takes some getting used to. Apart from the problem of climbing over peoples legs to reach the toilet and of course the crink in your neck from having a conversation arross four rows of seats is a difficult task.

But the bar is packed, the drinks are cheap and this venue gets a prime 7/10 for true innovation.

The Brighton Gloucester (Brighton)

The Brighton Gloucester

i really enjoyed myself here. A medium sized club opening with a cloackroom onto a bar and then down to seating and a dancefloor at the back. The tunes are uncommercial rock and dance which I love and the drinks were reasonabley priced. This is a great place to bring a crowd and dance your bottom off!

Overall a 9/10 for keeping me properly entertaining well into the early hours.
