Old Bull and Bush (Golders Green - London)

Old Bull and Bush

An impressive building a more quiet part of hampstead- a large old style townhouse with a good atmosphere and very popular with the local late 20-somethings. Mostly a jewish crowd. There is a large courtyard out the front for drinkign in which a good location in the summer and inside are low ceiling, interconnecting rooms which include a wide bar area and a restaurant off to the right. There is a weird collection of leather armchairs to view but finding available seating can be difficult. There is also a good selection of Blonde beers on tap from around europe and although there is no cider available it seems a good place at least to admire young single attractive women and have a tall brew on a summers evening.

Overall a classy establishment which has changed hands many times over the past few years- now it appears to be in its prime at least - 7/10

The Apollonia Restaurant & Bar (Stanmore - London)

The Apollonia Restaurant & Bar

Delicious food for sure but on a quieter evening (if you should head in to sit at the bar) I would advise against it Finest champagne is never at the top of my list on a friday night out and the prices here suggest you may want to take out an overdraft before adventuring. The atmosphere is rather too dark and for an imfamous restaurant it does seem rather small. The staff are accomodating and friendly however, but after leaving once I don't think I'd personally be up for returning.

Overall 3/10 if your after a boozey night, disappointing since I've read so many good reviews in the past, but then its the food, not the drink you would come here for.

Spaniards Inn (Hampstead - London)

Spaniards Inn

Located on a hill and pretty much only accessible by car nothing can beat this pub for a quiet sunday drink in the summer. A beautiful garden awaits with a huge number of tables and decking. Unfortunately a lot of people have the same idea and as such it can get pretty crowded. It pretty expensive as well which is quite the norm for the area but they serve some amazing steaks. The bar staff are not very friendly and you shjould expect to be in a long queue to be served. Too far from anywhere to be good for any night out.

As such I rate this pub a 6/10. More for the family than the boozey friends.

Edgware Gentlemens Club (Edgware - London)

Edgware Gentlemens Club
Well if you have the privalge to go inside, do. I hear there arent enough members to even quarter fill the place. It got a bit of a low ceiling at the fron bar but behind some more doors there a nice pool table setup and more bar. The drinks would have been expensive had everyone there not bought me pints so I can safely say I had a good time. the trick is to go with a member whose too drunk to remember buying all your drinks all night. The toilets were nice and plenty of seating too but it might be too dificult to get into to warrent a visit.

Overall a satisfying 7/10 but to tell the truth I could say if the drinks were well priced or not.
