Whetstone and Finchley stretches across a huge four tube stations but actually doesn't offer a huge variety of establishments as one might expect. The character of both of these locations just stretches in a high street which spans more than a mile or high street shops and the odd pub. The N20 nightbus crawls the length of this strip but you might be confused to learn that North Finchley doesn't have its own tube station. To get here i recommend you get the 263 or 326 buses from further in town or if you want to come by tube alight at Woodside Park station. The whole strip pretty much shuts down at about 1am with little chopice but to head into London afterwards.
